TRG has extensive experience in railroad tie disposal, and we provide a long-term sustainable solution to divert this waste stream from landfills. TRG has the capacity to process up to 2,000 railroad ties a day.

TRG coverts this material into what is known as CDF (Crosstie Derived Fuel), which is used as an alternative fuel source. TRG end users are fully permitted to process these alternative fuels . TRG’s recycling process saves 3.06 lbs. of carbon per railroad tie. TRG’s fuels are much less carbon intensive than traditional fossil fuels.
